Why do they have to suffer so much when unrequited love per se is nothing exciting. They feel the same as we all do when we're overwhelmed by strong feelings, so why it must matter who they are directed at.

sigh, it happened again :) Every time I fall for some char, it turns out they are just totally not what they seemed to be. It looks like everyone is struggling inwardly, suffering from some psychological trauma, complexes etc. Fake it till you make it, present the persona you want others to associate you with. And I'm always too naive to take them at face value :( I want to see genuine, strong personalities but... I guess it's inevitable as writers need some kind of conflicts to develop their chars but still I'm always disappointed :( Perhaps only in slice-of-life stories you could expect some true representation without any embellishing.

It's sorrowful how she's trying so hard to have someone special it even turned out into smth unnatural :( It can be just a friend, right. A poor girl lack parents' warmth T_T and her grandma's example... All this literature, cinema, everyone around preaches how essential love is (－‸ლ) that you have to find someone special otherwise...

Welp, anyway now I'm gonna root for that guy too against all hope :) btw I utterly enjoyed how they didn't make drama out of that misunderstanding and mc just asked his friend if they're dating or not. And how that girl just admitted she's not going to have any relationship with him but still can be friends. Just perfect! <3

Думаю, дело в разнице мышления и загруженности. Российские школьники могут прийти домой и зарубиться по дискорду с друзьяшками в игры. А Японцы в страшей школе пашут как на последнем курсе вуза, выходя из школы часов в 20 и отправляясь на дополнительные курсы, а потом доделывают домашку, чтобы начать круг сначала. Он старшей школы зависит абсолютно все будущее школьников, ибо если ты поступик в уник, то тебя уже, считай, взяли на пристижную работу. В вузах япы почти не учатся по сравнению со школой. Ну, все, кроме творческих специальностей, наверное. Но там все равно от школы зависит в 1000 раз больше, чем и нас, поэтому 98% пашут, а оставшиеся хиккуют, либо работают. С таким графиком трудно поддерживать связь, если у тебя кнопочный телефон и медленный лэптоп для домашки. Вот и страдают

Вот никак не пойму этой японской проблемы "ох мы будем учится в разных школах/университетах и больше не увидимся". Почему? Есть же свободное время, выходные в конце концов. Если переехали: телефоны интернет, видеозвонки. Что это за драма на пустом месте.
